In 1380 ( 2001 ) , the total available nominal capacity of powerplants of Khuzestan network reached 3828MW and the average of operational capacity of generators in the whole network reached 3138 MW . This shows a growth of 3 percent in comparison with 1379 ( 2000 ) . The maximum generated capacity in 1380( 2001 ) , by powerplants of the province is 3582 , shows a growth of 1.07 percent in comparison with 1370 ( 2000 ) .
Table(1) shows the generation capacity of Khuzestan powerplants in 1380 ( 2001 ) .
In the mean time , from this amount the generation share of hydro poweroplants has been 42 percent , steam powerplants 56 percent and gas powerplants 2 percent .
