The generation of energy in Khuzestan powerplants in 1380(2001) totalled 17862 () , which in comparison with previous year shows an increase of 19 percent .
Of the amount of generated energy 26 percent has been generated by hydro powerplants , 72 percent by steam powerplants and 2 percent by gas powerplants . Internal consumption of powerplants in 759() which equals 4 percent of the total energy generation .

The supplied energy to Tavanir in 1380 equals 4301() which indicates an increase of 49 percent in comparison with 1380(2001) . The conceded energy by Tavanir in 1380(2001) equals 3394() which in comparison with 1379(2000) indicates a decrease of 5 percent. The supplied energy to Khuzestan network in 1380(2002) was 16195() , which in comparison with 1379(2000) , indicates an increase of 8 percent . Table(4) offers a comparison between energy generation and exchange in Khuzestan networks in 1379(2000) and 1380(2001) .
