The transmission and
subtransmission projects were executed more seriously like the
previous years and on the basis of the executed plan and for the
purpose of supplying required load and increasing the power network
stability . Some of these projects finished and were put into
operation in 1380 (2001) and the rest of it was left till the next
year. In the meantime , the special requirements of the network
operation in Khuzestan is such that there are significant amendments
annually in the network in the form of projects and rehabilitation
of sub-station and lines for upgrading and in order to improve
operation condition .

In this manner the summary of statistical state of establishment of
transmission and subtransmission substation and lines of Khuzestan
during the year 1380(2001) is completed as following : 270MVA was added to
the capacity of 230KV substations and 143MVA was added to the capacity of
132KV substations . Therefore by calculation of the added capacity(413MVA)
, the total number of substations reached to 120 and the sum of their
capacity was 12805MVA.This value
had a growth rate of 3.5% in comparison with the total capacity of the
previous year (12391MVA) . Moreover the total length of 400,230 and 132 KV
lines , reached to 728,2030 and 2435 km/circuit respectively that had a
growth rate of 6.4% , 5.2% and 6.2% in comparison with the previous year .
