The training sector of KWPA in 1380(2001), as usual , had some courses in various occupational levels in order to retrain and educate the man-power and increase the scientific and practical capability of staff . The results of this action are as following :

In generation sector , 1338 persons (equal to 131349 person/hour) and in power sector , 2113 persons (equal to 139972 person/hour) passed various training courses which , in total 6130 persons (equal to 364753 person/hour) participated in training courses.

From 6130 trained staff , 1142(19%) , participated in growth and promotion courses, 1969(32%) in general courses,and 3019(49%) in specialized courses . MOreover from total number of 364753 person/hour training , 43% is growth and promotion courses(amounting to 156624 person/hour) , 23% is general courses (amounting to 82875 person/hour) , and 34% is specialized courses(amounting to 364753 person/hour) .

Additionally , 45 staff continue their education in long-term courses of BSc , MSc and PhD in electricity courses , accounting , executive and financial management .
